Topic: Internet Safety Across the world, abusive behaviour, cyber fraud, online radicalisation, illegal activity and fake news have all been growing policy issues for politicians that has put the Internet industry under pressure to respond. The recent release of the Internet Safety Strategy Green Paper in the UK, forming part of the Digital Charter, is one of the many measures the Government has introduced in an attempt to readdress areas of online policy. The panel will discuss the current Government approach and whether it is heading in the right direction, the areas of contention and whether the industry is taking a significant amount of responsibility in this area.
